We Need to Do What We Can To Shift The Atmosphere

We Need To Do Our Part In Shifting The Atmosphere

Each day we wake up the world feels more and more evil and has more and more hate going on all around us, and all around the world.

As I look around there are so many conflicts and each day it gets worse and worse.  Conflicts just seem to take the air out of our soul don’t they?  Mean hateful  people are all over the place doing bad things while think they are okay doing these bad things. I am amazed some days (but not surprised)  at just how mean and hateful people really are and how little they care about God, about our country, about justice, and all the while they do some really dumb and sinful things (by God’s opinion).

The atmosphere is ripe for conflict and anyone with a brain can not look around and think what the people are doing is okay.  It sure is not okay in the sight of God but God knew all this would happen…but it is not okay.

Hate and racism  hangs thick in the air like a haze  just waiting to be unleashed. But I believe there is a strategy that will not only hold it, but push it back. Most of us watch the news or look around our city as riots rage, police are pelted, and peaceful protesters are hurt or killed.  Illegal aliens don’t face justice, while citizens get long sentences and the crazies just don’t care and even promote the evil ones out  there.  It is very sad.

Most of us recognize the difference between the peaceful protesters (who are speaking up about an issue that is an issue in America) and the rioters who are activists with an agenda to cause harm, destruction, and chaos. The left calls the right all kinds of evil things and doesn’t care if they hurt or kill innocent people while doing their protest…but the thing I find insane…is people ask them why they are protesting (and it is highly organized) most don’t even know why they are doing what they are doing, and many of them get paid by insane evil people to do these things.

We all need to be a praying person/people.  We can’t fight these battles by doing what they do with the hate they show.  We are to take our prayers before God and see what and how He wants us to fight (in the Spirit).

The latter is the spirit of which I speak. We have the authority to quell the conflict in the spiritual realm as we form a wall not only with prayer, but with praise and the Word. God is with us when we do right…but know this…God can even allow for a season the isane crazies to accomplish His will.  Just hand in there and do right even if you are the only one doing right.

Shouldn’t we do all we can do to change the atmosphere that is going on out there?  If each does their part and all those parts are added up…then we can reach the goal and we can surely make a difference.

12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.   Heb 4:12 NLT

Jesus Calms the Storm: Mark 4: 35-41 NLT

35 As evening came, Jesus said to his disciples, “Let’s cross to the other side of the lake.” 36 So they took Jesus in the boat and started out, leaving the crowds behind (although other boats followed). 37 But soon a fierce storm came up. High waves were breaking into the boat, and it began to fill with water.

38 Jesus was sleeping at the back of the boat with his head on a cushion. The disciples woke him up, shouting, “Teacher, don’t you care that we’re going to drown?”

39 When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm. 40 Then he asked them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

41 The disciples were absolutely terrified. “Who is this man?” they asked each other. “Even the wind and waves obey him!”

God loves us and is there in our storms.  Sometimes they might be calmed right away, but sometimes it might take some times.  Just be patient and trust Him to get you through the storms of life.

“Lord, we don’t know what to do, but our eyes are on you.” 2 Chr  20:12.    Listen:  Praise and the Word are our weapons.  This is how we are to fight our battles. Our prayers, our praise is very powerful.  We might not accomplish great things by ourselves, but we can accomplish great things when we do this in unity.

As we go about our life pray for those people who are doing all these mean and evil things that they find Jesus, do right, and stop the insanity in their lives. You…focus on Jesus and doing right…and again…even if you are the only one who chooses to do right…keep doing it, never give up…and always trust the Lord.
