When we think about leadership do we think about what God feels is a good leader, or do we use what the world thinks is good leadership? We need to know what God has to say about leadership. Man’s idea of leadership and God’s are not the same thing. If only leadership in the world used what God calls good leadership in the Bible what a different-looking world we would live in. God doesn’t want someone with skill or stature, nor does He care if you are rich or famous by the world’s standards. He wants someone who loves Him and seeks His heart above all.

A good leader is willing to do what God wants and the way God wants it done

A good leader learns how to delegate so no one is overwhelmed
A good leader seeks God’s direction: Proverbs 16:1
A good leader surrounds himself or herself with hones, trustworthy counselors, and then listens to them if they give godly advice. Proverbs 16:13, 15:22
A good leader tries to stay focused on what God has given them to do
A good leader uses Self-awareness
A good leader will consider the interest of others even above their own . Philippians 2:4
A good leader will practice patience. Romans 8:25
A good leader will Seek God’s will before your personal desires or ambition. Matthew 6:33
A good leader will show respect
A good leader will submit to authority. Ephesians 5:21
A good leader will walk by faith. Hebrews 11:6
